On the evening of 2 April 2026, the Main Meeting Room of Singapore’s newly renovated Freemasons’ Hall was transformed into an intimate concert hall for a special benefit performance presented by Lodge Scientia.

Featuring talented students from the NAFA School of Music, the evening showcased a beautiful and inspiring programme with works by Mozart, Haydn, and Sibelius. Guests were treated to outstanding performances by the student musicians, making the concert both memorable and meaningful.
This special event was organized by Lodge Scientia, a research lodge, in support of the Masonic Charitable Fund (MCF) and NAFA. In his capacity as Patron of MCF, the District Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother Mahathir Mahzan, presented a cheque of SGD 20,000 to Dr Ernest Lim, Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, NAFA, in support of providing access and educational opportunities for NAFA School of Music students.
The concert concluded with a warm reception at The Masonic Club, where guests enjoyed fellowship and celebrated an evening that was widely regarded as a great success by all who attended.
If you missed this year’s concert, there is good news, this special event is set to become an annual occasion for at least the next five years.
