No Ngee Ann Polytechnic student is denied access to education thanks to the generosity of benefactors.
On April 25, 2022, Drs. Brian Shegar and Brian Yeo, trustees of the Masonic Charitable Fund (MCF) and signatories of the Oldham Lodge, signed a contract with Ngee Ann Polytechnic to establish the Masonic Charitable Fund – Oldham Lodge Bursary Award. In addition to the government scholarship they already receive, the award will help 10 financially challenged students from all fields of study with a $1,000 student aid stipend.
Charity is the cornerstone of Freemasonry, according to Dr. Shegar. To help financially underprivileged Singaporean students pay for their education, the Masonic Charitable Fund was founded in late 2019.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic is appreciative of The Masonic Charitable Fund – Oldham Lodge for their kind donation to support our needy students financially.
