On 7th September 2024, the Marine Parade Constituency came together to celebrate the culmination of the Grassroots Reading Project, a unique initiative aimed at fostering a love for reading among the young residents of the area. The event was graced by the presence of Minister Tan See Leng, who joined the community in recognizing the achievements of the participants and the dedication of the volunteers who made the program a success.
The Grassroots Reading Project was a brainchild of the Masonic Charitable Fund, a generous donor who saw the potential in nurturing the literary interests of the youth.
