On 3rd November 2020, the MCF signed a Bursary Award Agreement with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). A sum of $10,800.00 will be disbursed to six (6) recipients who will receive Bursary Awards for $1,800.00 per student. The beneficiaries are Singaporeans who fulfilled the criteria stipulated by the Ministry of Education and have been vetted and nominated by the relevant department of NAFA.
The six beneficiaries are undertaking full-time diploma studies across various programs offered by NAFA. The institution established in 1938, is Singapore’s pioneer Art Institution. It has nurtured 13 recipients of the Cultural Medallion, Singapore highest accolade for art practitioners. Another fourteen (14) alumni have been presented the Young Artist Award.
